He was predeceased by: his parents, John Winquist and Muriel Winquist; and his wife Joann. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Joann Springer (Surrell); his children, John Jay Winquist (Jennifer), Jed Winquist (Christine) of Sioux City, IA and Jody Winquist of Anchorage, AK; and his sisters, Eleanor Lewis, Joann Harlowe and Patricia Clark. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
