It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Winquist (Emerson, Nebraska), born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parent Mary Surrell; her husband John Winquist of Emerson, Nebraska; her children, John Winquist (Jennifer) of Sioux City, Iowa, Jed Winquist (Christine) of Sioux City, Iowa and Jody Winquist of Anchorage, AK; and her siblings, Louis Sprenger (Mary) of Sioux City and JoSandra Jamerthal of Akron, IA.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
