He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd John Martin, Sr. and Clare McTaggert; his wife Marcy Pieper; his children, Patrick, Pamela, Kerry and Todd Martin; his grandson Aaron Albrecht; his brothers, Mike Martin (Pat) and Tim Martin; and his sister-in-law Vera Mueller (Harlan).
He is survived by: his children, Michele McDevitt (David) of Sioux City, IA, Kevin Martin (Moe) of Emerson, NE and Julie Albrecht (Terry) of Thurston, NE; his daughter-in-law Susan Martin of Sioux City, IA; and his sister-in-law Pat Mahr of Emerson, NE. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
