Eileen Demke Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024, at the age of 87, Eileen Demke of Emerson, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walt; and her children, Marykae Demke and Robert "Dink" Demke. She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Chester (Paul); her daughter-in-law Sharon Demke of Emerson, NE; her grandchildren, Kristin Andersen (Jeff), Vanessa Emmons, Michael Emmons (Katie), Spencer Emmons (Brooklynn Roost), Nick Demke (Nikole), Brandon Chester (September), Abigail Thapa (Tol) and Quinn Chester; and her siblings, Boyd Hightree (Norma) of Pender, NE, Karen Oleson (Earl) and Mary Keegan (Ricky) of Sioux City, IA.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
During her retirement years, she made hats, mittens, and scarfs to donate to the Goodwill.
