She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Ray and Elva Mae Nelson (Groshart); her husband Jim Deselms; her daughters, Becky Prochnow, Penny Hill and Laura Sheldon of Lincoln; and her grandchildren, Vincent Avery (Reagan), Jessica Yarmer (Thomas), Shannon Hickenbottom (Jeremy), Misty Strobel and James Sheldon (Melanie). She was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the family in her name for later designation.
