It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale A Burkhalter (Elwood, Nebraska), who passed away on June 17, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Burkhalter and Merle Burkhalter (Bunting); his father-in-law Gerald; his brother Earl; and his brother-in-law Paul Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Elliott; his children, Phillip Burkhalter (Sharilyn) of Johnson Lake, David Burkhalter (Fabienne) of Elsie, Andrew Burkhalter (Frances) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Sarah Anderson (Michael) of Gothenburg, Nebraska; his siblings, Harold Burkhalter of Steamboat Springs, Loren Burkhalter (Lucinda) of Chariton, Iowa, Lela Burkhalter of Creston and Mary Louise Edwards of Greenwood, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Phyllis Burkhalter of Creston, Iowa; and his brother Gale Elliott (Sharon) of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
