He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Rex LeRoy; his spouse Carolyn Elaine Babbitt; his parent Revia Chase (Carolyn); his siblings, John Chase (Twyla), Gary Chase (Janet), Robert Chase and Emma Grimes; his siblings-in-law, Marylyn Shehee, Homer Babbitt and Mike Davis; his daughters, Jackie Kavalec (Jim) of Burwell, Julie Chase of Elsmere and Patty Shoemaker (Terry) of Elsmere; his grandchildren, Chase Staudenmaier (Heather) of Harrison, Leah Shoemaker of Elsmere, Clint Shoemaker of Elsmere and Terra Shoemaker of Elsmere; his great grandchildren, Mason Staudenmaier of Harrison and Gracie Gillespie of Elsmere; his sister Erma Davis of Merriman, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Babbitt (Sally) of Broken Bow, Gary Babbitt (Sharon) of Richland, Herman Shehee of Griffin, Ralph Grimes of Bradenton, Florida, Collen Chase of Bullhead City, Scottie Cadwell (Lee) of Lilburn, Nancy Drent (Ernie) of Beatrice and Mary Babbitt of Chesapeake, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were suggested to the family for a future designation.
