Daniel Converse Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Converse (Elsie, Nebraska), who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel Converse to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Converse and Dorothy Converse; his brother Dean Converse; his stepson Jimmy Hendren; and his granddaughter Sarah Schlatter.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Hendren-Converse; his daughters, Roxanne Converse-Whiting, Melanie Schlatter (Marion) and Dael Hendren (James Nielsen); his grandchildren, Kimberly Jorgenson (Alex), Tyler Whiting, Abigail, Nathan, Jonathan, Ethan, Zack, Asher Schlatter, Elsianne and Conlan Nielsen; and his siblings, David, Daryl and Jeanette. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
Dan was very passionate about veterans' rights, and so, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that any donations or memorials be made in Dan's name to the woundedwarriorproject.org; or if made to the family, it will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name.
