She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard McLaughlin and Stella McLaughlin (Box); her husband Dolor "Babe" Swarts; her siblings, Howard (Hanora), Dale (Verna Weyers) and Robert (Alma); her brother-in-law Pete Peterson; and her pets, Katie, Flipper and Goldie.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Peterson; her children, Keith Swarts (Jayme Nekuda) and Donna Amberly; and her grandchildren, Christine Jicha-Huettner, Mark Jicha, Tracey Micheel and Sarah Swarts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her family of friends.
