Charles D. Backemeyer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2022, at the age of 88, Charles D. Backemeyer of Elmwood, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Backemeyer and Lavina Backemeyer (Kunz); his son Steve; his sister Joan (Ted John); and his parents-in-law, Orval and Frances Miller.

He is survived by: his sons, Scot (Edie) and Joel (Shawna); his wife Jan; his daughters, Susan Rorie (Lonnie) and Nancy Bloomfield (Patrick); his daughter-in-law Julie Backemeyer; and his sister Karen Rase (Tom). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
