Virginia Rhoades Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rhoades of Elkhorn, Nebraska, born in Battle Creek, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jensen and Ellece Jensen; her husband Kenneth; her daughter Candace Suverkrubbe (Rhoades); and her siblings, Ruthie Jensen, Dwayne Jensen and Doris Daniels (Jensen).

She is survived by: her children, Mark Rhoades (Betty) and Penny Overmann (Mike); her grandchildren, Mindy Rump (Marty), Jessica Madsen (Rod), Nathan Suverkubbe (Melissa), Chris Rhoades (Dalyn), Travis Rhoades (Kristen), Collin Overmann (Jessica) and Brandon Overmann; and her brother David Jensen. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Rose Hill Cemetery or the Blair Congregational United Church of Christ.
