It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Legrand of Elkhorn, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Consuelo Morris and Byrel Morris; her husband Frank; and her sister Mary Lu Wesemann (Elmer). She is survived by: her children, David (Susan LeGrand), Bob (Diana LeGrand), Jon (Amy LeGrand) and Cathy (Joel McDermott); her sisters-in-law, Margie Wesley and Patty LeGrand; and her cousin Don Morris (Sandi Morris). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
After recovering from COVID-19, Jo moved to Elk Ridge Independent Living in Elkhorn in 2021.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are suggested to the Waterloo Methodist Church.
