He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Darlene; his brother Stanley; and his sister-in-law Bea Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Nancy Bailey Spidle of Omaha, Cindy Bailey of Overland Park, Amy Bailey of Omaha and Matthew Bailey of Manhattan Beach, California; his grandchildren, John, Jacob, Abigail, Luke Spidle, Harper and Avery Bailey; his brother Richard Bailey (Dick) of Omaha, Nebraska.; and his nephews, John Spidle, Jacob Spidle, Luke Spidle, Allen Bailey, Andrew Bailey and Adam Bailey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the McCook Christian Church (507 W B St, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Valley Cemetery N Ave.
