It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Dorothy Hitchler Biel of Elkhorn, Nebraska, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Rieck and Irma Rieck (Neidhardt); her former husband Irvin Biel; her husband Don (Irvin); her sister Carol; and her siblings-in-law, Gay Primrose, Robert Hitchler (Velma), Eve Albright (Roy), Salome Albright (Dale), Carl Hitchler (Betty) and Valentine Peter Hitchler.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth, Clifford, Ken Hitcher of Waterloo, Dan Hitchler (Deb) of North Bend, Cliff Hitchler (Tracy) of Elkhorn and Shirley Berger (Bill) of Spalding; her stepchildren, Richard Biel, Barbara Molck, Beverly Ayala and Rollin Biel; her grandchildren, Donald Hitchler (Trish) of Omaha, Jessica Hitchler of North Bend, Tyler Hitchler (Breanna) of Omaha, Brittanie Faltys (Jeff) of Elkhorn, Melissa Kaps (Tyler) of Ord, Brianna Sherlock (Tyler) of Alliance, Danielle Pieper (Tim) of Elkhorn, Olivia Christensen (Erik) of Omaha, Eric Berger (Eleanor) of Spalding, Todd Berger of Spalding and Mardee Berger of Spalding; and her great grandchildren, Toby Bush, Silas Hitchler, Marlys Hitchler, Braylie Faltys, Ellis Hitchler, Ben Christensen, Hollis Hitchler, Levi Sherlock, Kinsley Faltys and Knox Berger.
