It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Marie Bossen of Elkhorn, Nebraska, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter J. Lefeber and Clara A. Lefeber of Portsmouth; her siblings, Kathleen Miller (Dick) of Anaheim, CA and Harold Lefeber (Cleo) of Minden, IA; her daughter Angela K. West (Tim) of Bennington, NE; and her stepson Mark Allen Bossen of Council Bluffs, IA..

She is survived by: her husband Bruce A. Bossen of Elkhorn; her children, Kimberly Tryon (Orrin) of Eagle, NE, Laura Plott (Russ) of Chandler, AZ, Karla Zaracki (Todd) of Cedar Creek, NE and Michael Bossen (Tina) of Gilbert, AZ; her stepchildren, Jeff Bossen (Angie) of Janesville, CA and Kelly Young of Harlan, IA; her sister Verdella Sidebottom (Marlin) of Council Bluffs, IA.; her grandchildren, Ashley Russell (Jay), Bryan Stroyek (Meghan), Mark Allison (Alison), Erin Kaczor (Austin), Brieanne Abbott (Jesse), Taylor Kuenning (Austin), Todd Zaracki Jr. (Peyton), Kaylee West and Sydney Bossen of Gilbert, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Brooklyn, Charlie, Caroline, Henry, Claire, Marley, Banks and Waylon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
