We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2020, at the age of 78, Dennis F. Leners (Elk Creek, Nebraska), born in Beatrice, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilke R. Leners and Marie Tholen Leners; his siblings, R. Leland Leners and Linda K. Leners; and his parents-in-law, Leonard "Jake" and Thelma Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Martin of Virginia; his sister Joyce Cates of Stockton, CA; his nephew Rod S. Cates of Fallon, NV; his son Rodney A. Cates; his niece Tamara Morgali (Dave) of Stockton, CA; and his great-nephews, Jake and Eli.
Social distancing and masks are optional.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Virginia American Legion.
