He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Carnes and Hilda Carnes (Bickford). He is survived by: his wife Donna Case; his children, Alice Sweazy (Jeff) of Bloomfield, NE, Robert Carnes (Nicole) of Battle Creek, NE and Billy Carnes of Elgin, NE.; his sister-in-law Betty Carnes of Blair, NE.; and his siblings, Stanley, Melvin, Mary and Joy.
