He is survived by: his spouse Lageane Schellpeper; his sons, Mark Petersen (Alice) of Hubbard, NE and Roger Petersen (Daniela) of Cambridge, MA; his granddaughter Kelsey Petersen of Lincoln, NE.; his siblings, Dale Petersen of Austin, TX and Marlene Welding (Allen) of Sioux City; and his sister-in-law LaVonne Schellpeper of Stanton, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
