He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kerkman and Margaret June Kerkman (Hoefer); and his grandparents, William, Luella Kerkman, Henry and Margaret Hoefer.
He is survived by: his child Jerry; and his siblings, Connie Schulz (Jim) of Norfolk, NE, Barb Hoffart (Rex) of Norfolk, NE, Mike Kerkman (Judy) of Elgin, NE, Marvin Kerkman (Robin) of Grand Junction, CO, Janice Eischeid (Dave) of Elgin, NE and Steve Kerkman (Becky) of Elgin, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
