He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henkenius and Irene Catherine Henkenius (Kuester); his son Edward; and his sister Donna McGrath (Charlie). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Henkenius of Elgin; and his children, Larry Henkenius, Don Jr. Henkenius (Jen), Patricia Ohlrich (Duane) of Columbus, Linda Nadolski (John) of Valentine, Mary Bauer (Bob) of Elgin, Diane Landers (Kasey) of Abilene, KS and Janet Dozler (Bert) of Elgin. He is also survived by daughter-in-law Brenda Henkenius Towns of Giltner; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren with two on the way, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
