He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard L. Baxter and Phyllis Baxter (Mulford); his stepmother Lois Arnold; his parents-in-law, Oral and Pearl Broeker; his brother John Baxter; and his brother-in-law Bryan Broeker.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Baxter of Orleans; his grandchildren, Bleys, Barret Witt, Kirby, Katie Roberts, Rhianna Jacobsen, Sebastian, Tobias and Gabriel Baxter; his brothers, Stephen Baxter (Kathy) of Washington and Rodney Baxter (Tiffani) of Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Broeker (Elizabeth) of Maywood, Tracy Broeker (Sue) of Kearney, Ralph Broeker (Gloria) of Holdrege and Alan Broeker (Valerie) of Milford, Nebraska. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many friends.
