We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2022, at the age of 87, Kathryn Peterson of Edgar, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Thomas and Emma Thomas; her siblings, Howard, Bill, Jim, Mike and Jeanette; her daughter Julie Thompson; her former spouse Dale Peterson; and her great grandchild Elliana Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Susy Doyan (Rod) of Omaha, Nebraska, Rodger Peterson (Patty) of Juniata, Nebraska, Pam Hemji (Dave) of Juniata, Nebraska, Cheryl Schultz (Lonnie) of Juniata, Nebraska, Johnny Peterson (Eva James) of Edgar, Nebraska and Angie Beck (Dave) of Edgar, Nebraska; and her son-in-law Allen Thompson of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many close friends and neighbors.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made in care of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Deweese, Nebraska.
