She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lukes and Lois Lukes (Erskine); her parents-in-law, Ralph and June Tipken; and her grandparents, Horatio "Sonny" and Enola Erskine.
She is survived by: her husband John Tipken; her children, Christina Tipken (Tom) and Andrew Tipken (Mary); her grandchildren, Evelyn and Liam Tipken; her brother Gordon Lukes (Carol Cole); her nieces and nephews, Kathrine Morales (Danny) and Alexis Lukes; her uncle Bill Southerland (Loree); and her daughter Sarah Southerland. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
