He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Gilligan and Thelma J. Gilligan (Hasbrook); his former wife Mary (McNeela); and his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Gilligan; his daughter Anne Bush (Brian); his stepchildren, Hans Erickson (Angel) and Cara Allen (Trevor); his grandson Brendan Gilligan; his stepgrandchildren, Kailey, Roxi, Ava Erickson and Bas Lou Allen; his great grandchild Huntleigh Gilligan; his siblings, Terry Gilligan (Maggie) and Beth Nagle (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn McNeela, Joan McNeela, Don Ellerbusch (Kellie) and Dan Ellerbusch. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (Washington).
