He was predeceased by: his father William D.. He is survived by: his children, Michael "Sarge" Jones II and Rachel Williams (Larry); his sister Sandy Jones; his partner Clancy Smith; his aunt Della Jones; and his cousins, Jeff Wilson and Evelyn Wilson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
