It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Oestmann of Eagle, Nebraska, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Oestmann and Junita Oestmann (Michel); his wife Beverly J. Russell; his siblings, Connie Simpson and Aralon Oestmann; and his brother-in-law Don Hall.
He is survived by: his son Jeff (Bambi) of Lincoln; his granddaughters, Brooke of Lincoln and Morgan (Zach) of Stoutsville, OH; his great grandchildren, Loralie and Shirley; his sister Lois Podendorf of Beatrice; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Simpson of Valparaiso, Kathy Oestmann of Johnson, John Russell (Carol) of Henderson, NV and Marilyn Hall of Henderson, NV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
