She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zvolanek and Betty Zvolanek (Weiner); and her husband David Slaughter. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Slaughter; her grandchildren, Emily Cary and Ryan Brockhoff; her daughter Megan Shelley (Jamie); her grandchildren, Caden Hosack, Gavin Hosack, Brock Shelley, Leighton Shelley and Hudson Shelley; her daughter Heather Slaughter; her grandchild Meadow Slaughter-Cockerill; her son Joshua Slaughter (Jennifer); her grandsons, Jackson Slaughter, Owen Slaughter, Henry Slaughter and Eli Slaughter; her siblings, Pat Gordon (Michael) and Roger Zvolanek (Marjorie); and her pet Gizmo.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
