He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Kopejtka and Bonney Kopejtka (Lawrence); and his stepfather John Smith. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Betty Bright of Pierce, NE and Tracy Carlson (Lonnie) of Pierce, NE; his former wife Jessie Pendergrass of Pierce, NE; and his siblings, Mark Kopejtka (William Schuler) of Sioux Falls, SD and Mary Boettcher (Ron) of Stuart, NE. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
