It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Czapla (Duncan, Nebraska), born in Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Czapla and Henrietta Czapla (Mielak); and his brother Dave Czapla. He is survived by: his wife Sally Latare; his children, Nicole Wangler (Brad) of Columbus and Toby Czapla of Bennington; his grandchildren, Chase and Emma Wangler; and his sister-in-law Gina Czapla of Columbus.
Visitation is on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 5:00 - 7:00 p. m. at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with COVID-19 restrictions in place and the family will not be present.
In lieu of plants, memorials may be made to the family.
