Lance Sterns Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lance Sterns (Douglas, Nebraska), born in Raymond, Nebraska, who passed away on June 19, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald A. Sr. Sterns and Dorothy W. Sterns (Jones); his grandmother Dr. Agnes Houston Jones; his wife Joan French; his siblings, Judy and Monty; his daughters, JoLane Moler and Traci Monson; his sons-in-law, Denny Moler and Tim Monson; his grandchildren, Tori Moler, Radley Monson and Maura Monson; his great grandchildren, Brelynn and Livvie Walker; his brother Marvin Sterns (Judi) of Lincoln, NE; his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Sterns of Bennet, NE, Judy Jensen of Omaha, NE and Monty French (Peg) of Lincoln, NE.; and his brothers, Gerald A. Sterns Jr. and Albert O. Sterns. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family will greet friends from 2-4pm on Sunday June 23, 2019 at Roper and Sons South Chapel 3950 Hohensee (40th and Yankee Hill) In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to Rosehill Cemetery in Douglas, NE, St. Mark's UMC, or Sesostris Shrine.
