He is survived by: his wife Jan; his son Douglas Anderson (Malissa); his grandchildren, Erik and Jarod; his son Ryan Anderson; his grandchildren, Max and Marlowe; and his siblings, Roger Anderson, Becky Schmit and Ginny Bojanski. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, his extended family and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Omaha Home for Boys.
