He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Pavlish (Hagemeier); his parents, Raymond Pavlish and Anna Pavlish (Kozak); and his sisters, June Porter, Daisy Newcomer, Ellen Cadawallader and Shirely Jelinek.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathrine Schwartman (Kevin). He is also survived by two grandchildren; and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Voices of Hope or the Children's Advocacy Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
