It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dale Gillham of Doniphan, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gillham and Helen Gillham (Weeks); his brothers, Jan Gillham and Craig Gillham; and his granddaughter Tessa Knight.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Meyer; his wife Barb; his children, Debra Husman (Michael) of Chapman, Stephanie Cooper (Wendall) of Peyton, CO, Rick Gillham (Deb) of Hebron, Richelle Kitchen (Jeff) of Marshall, TX, Laura Hermance of Grand Island and Rebecca Christensen (Scott) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Kerri Bly (Aaron), Joe Husman (Candace), Matthew Knight (Nicole), Weston Cooper (Amanda), Rachel Pridham (Paul), Cassie Cooper, Bo Gillham, Tara Swartzendruber (Matt), Hannah Dunlap (Chris), Reaghan Christensen and Rowan Christensen; and his sister Joy Reeves of Central City. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
