With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Lau of Doniphan, Nebraska, born in Panguitch, Utah, who passed away on December 11, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayo Riggs and Erna Riggs (LeFevre); her husband Dean Wesley Lau; her siblings, Kay Cherrington and Timothy Riggs; and her siblings-in-law, Fran Lau and Bill King.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Lau (Jona) of Doniphan, Kris Atkin (Dan) of Aurora, CO, Jackie Slusinski (Pete), Suzy Rainforth (Brent) of Doniphan, Shannon Beck (Jamey) of Clarks and Missy Gillespie (Dylan) of Mesa, AZ; her siblings, Berthann King of Utah and John Riggs (Tina) of Arizona; and her brothers-in-law, Darrell Lau of Oklahoma and George Cherrington of Utah. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
