He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Speed Sr. and Mary Speed (Lindley); and his wife Caroline Husman. He is survived by: his children, Terry Speed (Christa) of Grand Island and Lori O'Gorman (Brian) of Fremont; his granddaughter Anna Speed (Michael Faue); his great grandchild Malina Speed Faue; and his sisters, Alice Speed of Denver and Mary Loux of Zion, IL. He is also survived by nephews and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Hospital, the Chapman United Methodist Church or the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
