We bid farewell to Norma Brune of Dodge, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Norma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kluthe and Katherine Kluthe (Rebhausen); her husband Leonard Brune; and her siblings, Isabella Timmerman, Herenia Pfrunder, Beata Batenhorst, Grace Kenney, Blanche Kluthe, Alfred, Donald and Eldon Kluthe.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Brune Kreikemeier, Martha Kluthe and Doris Kluthe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (731 2nd St, Dodge, NE 68633). A wake was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
