She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kluthe and Katherine Kluthe (Rebhausen); her husband Leonard Brune; and her siblings, Isabella Timmerman, Herenia Pfrunder, Beata Batenhorst, Grace Kenney, Blanche Kluthe, Alfred, Donald and Eldon Kluthe.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Brune Kreikemeier, Martha Kluthe and Doris Kluthe.
