He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wieneke and Cecelia Wieneke (Limbach); his wife Marilyn Vogeltanz; his siblings, LaVerna Kloke and Wilfred Wieneke; his brothers-in-law, Delwyn Vogeltanz, Victor Westermann and Hugo Kloke; his nieces, Patty Dostal and Wanda Wiemann; and his great-nephew Jason Hafsaas.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark of Dodge, NE, Jeff (Allison) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Dan (Karen) of Elgin, NE and Keith (Mikki) of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Kelsey Boekhoff (Austin), Paige Wieneke, Kiarra Wieneke, Dylan Wieneke (Connie), Logan Wieneke and Carson Wieneke; and his great grandchild Weston Boekhoff (Marlene Anderson).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (731 2nd St, Dodge, NE 68633). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Howells Knights of Columbus. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (731 2nd St, Dodge, NE 68633).
