He was predeceased by: his brother Jeff Bowersox; and his mother Janet Bowersox (Crannell). He is survived by: his father Lynn Bowersox of Belleville; and his siblings, Vicky Griggs of Garden City, Lisa Stinson (John) of Wichita and James Bowersox of Concordia. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and two little great nephews.

The family requests memorials to go to the Kansas Soldier's Home Activity Fund in care of Swaim Funeral Chapel.
