She is survived by: her children, Kelvin Berens (Dawn) of Elkhorn, NE, Stephen Berens of Los Angeles, CA, David Berens (Luann) of Stratton, CO, Mark Berens (Gerri) of Kingwood, TX, Chris Berens (Peggy) of Bennington, NE and Renee Berens of Mason, TX; and her brother Ron Schmidt of Dodge, NE.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
