She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Brester and Delma Brester (Heimann); her parents-in-law, Joe and Bessie Ruzek; her aunts and uncles, George Brester (Katie), Joe Brester (Mary), Gilbert Brester (Margaret), John Brester (Dorothy), Kenny Heimann (Lavaine), Bernadine Renner (Leo), Odelia Faltys, Sr. (James), Martha Brester and Ardyce Luxa (Dennis); and her nephew Jay Thomas McKern.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Ruzek, Jr. of Dodge; her children, Jeremy (Trish Ruzek), Rozlyn, Hazel, Kazen Steven, Courtney Ruzek of Albion, NE, Olivia, Mason, Bryan, Kayla Ruzek of Dodge, NE, Tommy and Sami Ruzek of Omaha, NE; her siblings, Dave (Martha Brester), Tom Brester of Long Island, KS, Mary (Rick McKern), Pat (Kathy Brester), Laurie Kaiser (Jeff Hart) and Leroy Brester of Mesa, AZ; her aunt Arlene Langhorst of West Point, NE; and her uncle Mel Heimann of Columbus, NE. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (731 2nd St, Dodge, NE 68633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge or S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells.
