He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schultis and Irene Wolken; his stepfather Duane Wolken; his brothers-in-law, Norman and Arlen Frerichs; and his parents-in-law, Pope and Grace Frerichs.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Frerichs of Diller; his children, Greg Schultis (Melissa) of Plymouth, Jamie Schultis (Sheri) of Diller and Kimberly Burhoop of Walton; his grandchildren, Jenna Hassett (Seth), Brayden Schultis (Katie), Reagan Spilker (Jack), Emerson, Avery, Caleb, Jadyn, Brennan Schultis, Jacob, Noah and Elizabeth Burhoop; his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Cason Furby; his siblings, Janet Skrabal (Al) and Doyle Wolken (Marlene); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Young and Deeann Frerichs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Diller.
