He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Weers and Christena Weers (Gebhard); and his sister LaVerna Weers. He is survived by: his wife Jean Krebs; his children, Gayle Specht (Chris) of Beatrice, Julie Sandman (Steve) of Beatrice and Mark Weers (Rachelle) of Diller; his grandchildren, Siera Savitz (Daniel), Amanda Stamatis (Daniel), Chandler Sandman (Lexi Jessen), Marissa Sandman, Kyle Murray, Ashton Sandman, Anessa Price (Curtis), Ethan Weers (Lexi), Cole Weers and Ellie Weers; his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Addilyn Price; his sister Malvery Lott (Gene) of Blue Rapids, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Horsky (Larry) of Diller and Judy Mulvey (Jack) of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
