It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Roy Holtmeier of Diller, Nebraska, born in Odell, Nebraska, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Holtmeier and Grace Holtmeier (Mathias); his wife Sharon Trauernicht; his brother Jesse Holtmeier; his sister-in-law Marla Doebele; and his niece Jessica Holtmeier-Nabity.

He is survived by: his children, Tiffani Pinkerton (Kevin) of Omaha, Tori Holtmeier (Jason Shepperd) of Austin, Texas and Troy Holtmeier of Bacliff, Texas; his stepchildren, Dawn Jerdoe (Pat) of Beatrice and David Trauernicht of Beatrice; his stepson-in-law Jim Brod of Ellis; his grandchildren, Sebastian Holtmeier, Caden, Lucas, Riley Pinkerton and Holt Shepperd; his stepgrandchildren, Kalynn Jeardoe, Truxton, Raven Trauernicht, Jacob and Jordan Brod; his great grandchild Cole Holtmeier; his siblings, Jim (Joyce) of DeWitt, Jack (Kathy) of Plymouth, Joel (Linda) of Diller and Jannelle Weise (Bruce) of Jansen; and his close friend John "Gonzo" Garcia (Linda) of Diller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Westside Baptist Church or BCH Hospice in care of the mortuary.
