He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Dowling; his sister Barbara Helmstadter; his brother-in-law Stanley Roelfs; and his nephew Noah Gold. He is survived by: his mother Janet Dowling (Jessen) of Diller; his brothers, Bryan Dowling (Jean) of Lincoln and Jeff Dowling (Carol) of Lincoln; and his stepsiblings, Robbyn Roelfs of Diller, Sherry Henrichs (David) of Diller and Kelly Gold (Lisa) of Lawrence, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
