It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Glen Swanson (Dickens, Nebraska), born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Glen and Corinne Swanson (Lloyd); his wife Darlene Stearns; and his son-in-law Robert West. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Swanson (Kathy) of Wallace, Cindy Swanson of North Platte and Crystal West (Rod Wilson) of Wallace; his grandchildren, Amy Swanson of Lamars, IA, Lisa Brand (Nick) of Yutan, NE, Adam Swanson of Wallace, Daniel Swanson of Wallace, Kodi Homan (Dan) of North Platte, Erin Arensdorf (Wyatt) of North Platte, Robert West (Audra) of Blackhawk, SD, Michael West (LeAnn) of Wallace and Katie Isenbart (Max) of North Platte; and his sister Gayle White of Dickens. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Rural Medical Hospice or the Wallace Fire Department.
