We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Ronald Kobes of DeWitt, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kobes and Lillian Kobes (Stach); his brother-in-law Gary Richtarik; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Mildred Richtarik.

He is survived by: his nephew Bradley Frahm; his wife Shirley Ann Richtarik; his daughter Sheila; his son-in-law Dennis VanLaningham; his son Bob; his daughter-in-law Angie Kobes; his grandson Kurtis VanLaningham (Cassie Andelt); his great grandchild Wyatt; his grandchildren, Derek, Carrie VanLaningham and Saige Kobes; his great grandchild Crew VanLaningham; and his sisters-in-law, Selma (Perry Frahm) and Karen Richtarik.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the DeWitt Fire & Rescue Department.
