With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean LaRue Bass of DeWitt, Nebraska, born in Crawford, Nebraska, who passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bass and Fern Bass (Young); his wife Yvonne; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Reba Bass; and his son-in-law John Barrett.

He is survived by: his children, Constance Joan and Thomas Dean; his pet Winnie; his children, Connie Barrett of Arvada, CO and Tom Bass (Kathy); his grandchildren, Mindy Levens (Hans), Aaron Barrett (Kiley), Jackie Bass and Angie Bass; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Ryder Levens, Reeve, Lexi Barrett and Best Friend; and also Yvonne.
