He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sykora and Rose Sykora (Hlavac); his brother Jim Sykora; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Wright and Dean Rothfuss.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Rothfuss of Deweese, NE; his sons, Dennis Sykora (Jennifer) of Hastings, NE and Dan Sykora (Alissa) of Hanna, IN; his grandsons, Ty and Lance Sykora of Hanna, IN; his siblings, Rita Wright of Kearney, NE and Don Sykora of Stockton, MO; and his sister-in-law Jody Sykora of Deweese, NE. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
