He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita Cook (Wells) and Shelton Cook; and his siblings, Alberta, Cecil and Guy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Chvala of Lawrence, NE; his siblings, Bill, Norma, Muriel and June; his children, John (Martie) of Topeka, KS, Scott (Sara) of Topeka, KS, Cindy Loring (David) of Orland, ME and Terry Gordanier (Shawn) of Deweese, NE; his grandchildren, Melissa Estes (Brian), Brian Loring, Katie Howard (Alex), Kayla Force (Nathan), Trevor Gordanier, Trace Gordanier, Rilie Jones (Will) and Bryce Cook; and his great grandchildren, Juniper, Oscar Estes, Taegan Jones and Griffin Howard. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the family or a farvorite charity.
