He was predeceased by: his grandfather John Hofts; his great-uncle Lewis Hofts; his grandmothers, Fern Hofts and Joyce Zucker; and his great-uncle Alfred.

He is survived by: his aunts, Jane Bartling and Ardythe; his uncle Fred Hofts; and his parents, Stanley Hofts and Mary Jo Hofts of Deshler. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
